Recommended for P – Yr 12

This program explores the complex understanding Indigenous people gave with the land. Territorial rights and responsibilities, significant sites, the use of plants and animals, hunting and gathering food, language, kinship and social organisation will be discussed. Explore issue of citizenship and responsibility, sustainability, historical and geographical knowledge. These themes are powerfully communicated through diverse artistic practices, presenting alternative forma of cultural transmission.

  • All staffed session are conducted in the Gallery spaces with an Education Officer unless otherwise stated.
